World Leading Energy Company has an exciting opportunity for a Change & Training Analyst with SAP exposure to join a Global Team within the Downstream part of the business. London Office 3 days a week / hybrid working.

The candidate will require a good e2e knowledge of a Business and process area. This is a global role and as such the candidate would be expected to work European work hours when not travelling, to park the different time zones and geographical scope. Travel: The role will involve minimal international travel (approximately 10%) due to the virtual nature of the project.

This role will support the Finance Pillar lead for a Project moving our 20,000 users from the current platform to the S/4 platform. In this project we will be using a Digital Adoption Platform to roll out the training to the users. The role will support as well potentially global/regional/local projects within their process area.

Responsible for the analysis of impacts resulting from changes within Downstream Renewables business. These often relate to IT projects or business initiatives. The Advisor will work with a variety of stakeholders, both geographical and vertically, to complete an impact assessment and scope out the requirements for the change based on the value case, targeting behavioural, system, compliance, process, ways-of-working or a combination of all the above. They would be allocated to a process area covering multiple simultaneous projects.

They would facilitate and advise Business stakeholders to the most appropriate learning strategy to their benefits case. They would use a blended learning approach, which is becoming increasingly technical, including AI and digital learning solutions. Hence, the candidate would need deep business and process knowledge, plus the technical skills to provide in-house fit-for-purpose solutions. Furthermore, this would also include project management skills of planning, tracking, reporting and stakeholder management to progress each Change Journey.

  • Deliver and sustain results – Deliver learning strategies as part of a wider change programme, across organizational boundaries and geographies.
  • Develop fit-for-purpose solutions which will deliver business readiness and ultimately help drive business performance success.
  • Facilitate cross-functional project and business teams.

Content Development

  • Perform a detailed Training Needs Analysis following the change impact assessment to understand current state Vs future design.
  • Develop and deliver blended learning solutions to accelerate the learning and promote adoption.
  • Coordinate a funnel of learning initiatives – Own the pipeline of learning requirements for area of responsibility, typically a dedicated process area or business.
  • Coach the delivery of initiatives and inspire employees across geographies to participate, with emphasis on learning-by-doing.
  • Coach junior Learning Analysts to develop their skills to deliver pragmatic and effective approaches.
  • Co-deliver the training agenda, including modular digital training sessions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop a strong network of stakeholders within area of responsibility, including DROE, Project, IT, Process Experts, Change Agents, Senior business sponsors.
  • Bring stakeholders along the journey of how their value chains are evolving as the transformation progresses.
  • Strong relationship and influencing skills are required, with the ability to read the room and understand the key business drivers, which supports the development of effective solutions.

Digital Technologies

  • Utilising most effective & appropriate methods of delivery, which is becoming increasingly technical, including AI and digital tools (Articulate 360, Synthesia, WalkMe & other Knowledge Management Tools).
  • Responsible for upskilling and leading digital adoption.

Dimensions:

  • Geographical coverage: 47 countries, including 20K GSAP users and other users of DS Applications.
  • Project scope: Enterprise-wide or DS projects across Downstream (incl. Chemicals).
  • Understanding of also Finance, Tax or PGS processes.

Skills & Requirements:

  • High-level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures – Essential.
  • A good understanding of SAP/S/4HANA and Connected Applications (CAPs) within one or more parts of Downstream – Essential.
  • Process expertise in at least one of the following areas: OTC, FSS, LSC, DIS, MIT, GAME, MI, PGS, HM, PLM, Chemicals & Products – Essential.
  • Possess an innovative and creative spirit, wanting to make a difference through learning & personal development, with a focus on the end-user experience – Advantageous.
  • Experience of working effectively within a virtual team – Advantageous.
  • Personal experience of going through major organizational, systems or processes change – Advantageous.
  • Experience of training and/or communications development or training delivery – Advantageous.
  • 5+ years of experience and/or leadership experience.
  • Improvement experience in transactional environments.
  • Strong stakeholder relationships and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to challenge stakeholders while maintaining effective relationships.
  • This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment.
  • You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
