Exciting opportunity for an Endur Functional Business Analyst to join this global Energy company for a 12 month initial long term contract. This is an exciting time to join this world‑leading Energy company as it evolves from a traditional Oil & Gas enterprise into a future‑focused Energy leader. This transformation includes the establishment of a highly successful new Power Trading desk within the Energy Trading team and ventures into cutting‑edge solutions that address the evolving demands of the Energy sector. These initiatives include advanced Gas infrastructure, LNG technology, effective Energy Storage systems and Green Energy solutions.

Role Requirements

  • Endur Functional Expert support in the Gas and Power Commercial IDT teams.
  • Must have Endur experience in the Commercial area.
  • Nice to have: Gas or Power specific Endur knowledge.
  • Gas or Power Trading Knowledge.
  • Commercial Reporting experience.
  • 3 major releases: EU Gas, EU Power and then Global Emissions.
  • The overall programme is broken down into squads of typically 8-12 people with a combination of Product Owners, BAs, Developers and Testers.
  • Currently on Endur V24 and planning to go-live on V25.

Description

End-to-end delivery of all systems necessary to manage the Systematic Trading desk trade flow from deal entry to settlements. This value stream will pave the way for rapid incremental roll‑out of further desks. It will also prove the end-to-end Endur transaction backbone and the downstream (risk & finance) workflows, processes and key interfaces. Significantly de‑risks the overall delivery by choosing a discreet trading desk with limited interactions with other desks that predominantly trades.

Optional skills

  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI‑PBA certification preferred.

Qualifications

This role requires a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You must be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to write clearly and concisely.
