Senior Project/Delivery Manager : Data Platform : Oil & Gas

This transformation includes the establishment of a highly successful new Power Trading desk within the Energy Trading team and ventures into cutting-edge solutions that address the evolving demands of the Energy sector. About The Role:

• Plan, execute, and control the project adhering to the internal methodology and other standards.
• Proactively analyse variances against plan and trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments
• Identify where a project may be at risk and take appropriate action.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders e.g. users/customers/suppliers to benefit from the delivered products, services and changes.
• Develop and execute appropriate change and engagement plans to achieve necessary behaviour changes and maximise benefits.

Your Background Needs To Include:

• Seasoned IT Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience within the Oil and Gas / Energy industry.
• Recently delivered data platform implementation project – preferably Microsoft Azure based and preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
• Experienced in managing teams of 20+
• Strong stakeholder management who will own/champion the data platform vision and will drive transformation across the business; strong change control and project risk management.
• Ability to work from central London offices 3 days per week.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
