Fantastic Contract Opportunity for a Senior Data & Projects Pensions Specialist to join a UK Energy Major's In-House Administration Team. A specialist role within the pension trustee services function of a major international Energy Group, providing expert data and project management support across four large defined benefit pension schemes.
The role covers:
- Day-to-day oversight of a third-party pension administration system (Equiniti Compendia), including managing the provider relationship and contributing to system strategy and upgrades
- Leading and delivering complex pensions projects, including a significant IT system upgrade, GMP equalisation, and Pensions Dashboards implementation
- Managing large volumes of sensitive member data to support actuarial valuations, annual benefit statements, and legislative compliance
- Acting as a key liaison with external service providers across IT, data, and administration functions
- Coaching and supporting a wider team across two locations (London and Europe)
Key Experience Required:
- Strong UK defined benefit pensions experience (in-house or third-party administrator)
- UK Pensions Qualifications (e.g. PMI / CPC)
- Deep knowledge of UK pensions legislation and market practice
- Hands-on experience with pension administration systems, ideally Compendia
- Confidence working with complex, high-volume data
- Strong stakeholder management and project delivery skills
