Endur Commercial Business Analyst: Greenfield Implementation – World Energy Co
This is a 6- to 12-month initial contract for an Endur Commercial Business Analyst to join a global energy trading programme. The role focuses on delivering a Greenfield, cloud-hosted Endur implementation, from design through build to implementation and beyond. You will work with dedicated business SMEs to drive requirements and design for a strategic Endur ETRM solution.
You will be part of a cross-functional programme with squads (typically 8–12 people including Product Owners, BAs, Developers and Testers) delivering three major releases: EU Gas, EU Power and Global Emissions.
Responsibilities
- Work with the BA lead and business/IT stakeholders to fulfill the BA role across the full project lifecycle: scoping/requirements gathering, collaboration with developers and testers, and running user acceptance testing.
- Configure elements of the Endur solution within the system.
- Own the scope and contribute to the solution landscape, in collaboration with architects who drive the overall solution architecture.
- Engage with business SMEs to drive requirements and design for the Endur ETRM solution.
What you will bring
- Business Analysis / Project Delivery Experience – Essential
- Track record of end-to-end project lifecycle delivery
- Strong BA skills: capturing business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements
- Experience running workshops and user acceptance testing
- Experience working in Agile project delivery
- Energy Trading Experience – Essential
- Knowledge of European gas markets (gas networks, balancing, scheduling, capacity, transportation, pricing, P&L, exposure management)
- Working knowledge of trading instruments, including:
- OTC transactions (forwards, storage, swing deals, swaps, simple options)
- Exchange-traded futures & options lifecycle (including cascading)
