An exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Project or Programme Manager to join this world leading Energy Trading company. Must have previous experience with Commodities Trading and ideally Consulting.
About The Role:
- Senior Business Facing Energy Trading Project Manager: Working on a large programme of delivery work for a new Freight Handling System that integrates closely with the Energy Traders.
- This world leading high profile company is transitioning from a 30 year old in-house system to a new SaaS based system.
- The teams are building some bespoke add-ons to address issues that have arisen, especially within the Energy Trading community.
- A seasoned professional to set the vision, develop the narrative and align many stakeholders.
- Solid experience within Commodities Trading is essential for this role.
- Freight Handling Platforms experience is helpful but not essential.
Engagement and Communication:
- The manager must engage stakeholders at the right time and in the right way, keeping them updated and involved.
- Ensure that the business is ready for the change: processes are mapped/updated, people are trained and engaged throughout the process.
- This needs to be combined with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment.
- You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
