Technical Sales Engineer
Responsibilities
- Sales of fabric, metallic, rubber expansion joints and RKS at customer sites within the UK to end users, OEM and third‑party customers.
- Sales of the service, inspection and maintenance of the above.
- The role is predominantly based externally to the Company facility, mainly within the UK but occasionally outside the UK.
- Ongoing selling of service concepts, including service jobs and replacement of expansion joints.
- Submitting quotations to customers.
- Logging all sales data, enquiries, visits and customer information via C4C.
- Checking dimensional measurements and noting misalignments.
- Undertaking site surveys of expansion joints (mapping, condition report).
- Preparing visit reports and mapping of customer locations.
- Input into budget preparation.
- Conducting service visits and planning maintenance outages.
- Proactively solving customer needs.
- Managing an individual customer base.
Qualifications
- Ideally 5 years’ general sales experience.
- Ideally 3 years of expansion joint experience.
- Ideally knowledge of the Static Sealing Solution portfolio.
- Ideally knowledge of product‑related inspection and service execution.
