We are looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff to the CTO with a background in hardware, software, engineering or technology, combined with strong programme/project management and stakeholder management skills.
This is a hands-on role working closely with the CTO to drive strategic programmes, improve execution and ensure alignment across technical teams.
You will need to be a highly confident communicator who can understand complex technical subjects, manage senior stakeholders and represent the CTO effectively across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CTO to translate strategy into clear priorities and execution plans.
- Own and drive key cross-functional technology programmes and initiatives.
- Track milestones, risks, dependencies and actions to ensure delivery.
- Work across hardware, software, robotics and engineering teams to maintain alignment.
- Prepare the CTO for key meetings, decisions and presentations.
- Create executive-level presentations, reports and briefings.
- Manage senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Attend and facilitate key meetings, ensuring actions and decisions are followed through.
- Identify blockers and proactively drive solutions.
- Support strategic planning, technology roadmaps and organisational development.
About You
- Technical background in software, hardware, electronics, robotics, engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience managing complex programmes or projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly confident presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Able to communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working directly with senior executives and operating with autonomy.
