Eagle Platforms & Training Ltd, a leading access platform rental company based in Sheffield, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our team at our Dinnington headquarters. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance function and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of accounts operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts
- Assisting with payroll administration and VAT (if applicable)
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Handling general finance-related administrative duties
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar accounts or finance role
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Xero preferred or Sage) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- AAT qualification or working towards it
- Experience within the plant hire or rental industry
Remuneration & Benefits:
- Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 (depending on experience)
