Are you a mechanical maintenance engineer who enjoys a fast-paced factory environment? My client is a well-established business that puts their people at the heart of everything they do. Their culture is their greatest asset, followed by their high-quality products. They are looking for a strong mechanical engineer who is confident in their ability and able to work on both reactive and proactive maintenance, applying their knowledge to problem solve. Working across three shifts, you will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment including motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, breakdowns, and malfunctions.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify wear and tear and potential issues before they become critical.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other engineers to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is £40k - £45k, (dependent on experience) along with a host of company benefits, lots of development and access to further training.
