Head Chef – EADN St Paul’s. Location: St Paul’s, London. Salary: £60,000 per annum. Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the kitchen operation..
  • Create, develop, and cost innovative dishes and recipes in line with the EADN brand..
  • Design, review, and update seasonal menus while maintaining consistency and quality..
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard..
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop all kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and service..
  • Deliver regular training to kitchen staff on recipes, food presentation, food safety, hygiene, and operational standards..
  • Manage kitchen rotas, performance, and staff development..
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, supplier relationships, and minimise food waste..
  • Monitor food costs, labour costs, and achieve agreed GP targets..
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment..
  • Ensure full compliance with all Food Safety, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, HACCP, allergen management, and Environmental Health regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation at all times..
  • Ensure the kitchen is inspection-ready and compliant with all statutory requirements..
  • Work closely with senior management to continuously improve the food offering and overall guest experience..
  • Lead by example, maintaining professionalism and high standards at all times..

Essential Requirements.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef..
  • Fluent in spoken and written English..
  • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate..
  • Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate..
  • Strong knowledge of UK Food Safety legislation, HACCP principles, allergen regulations, and Environmental Health requirements..
  • Proven ability to maintain full compliance with food safety and regulatory standards during inspections and day-to-day operations..
  • Experience creating and costing menus, dishes, and recipes..
  • Proven experience training, mentoring, and developing kitchen teams..
  • Strong leadership and people management skills..
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills..
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment..
  • Strong understanding of stock control, ordering, food cost management, waste reduction, and kitchen budgeting..
  • Ability to manage staff rotas and performance..
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional food quality and customer service..
  • Right to work in the UK..

Working Hours.

  • Full-time – 40 hours per week..
  • Mandatory working days: Thursday to Sunday..
  • Montues: The restaurant is closed unless operating for Bank Holidays or special events. The successful candidate must be available to work on these occasions..
  • Annual leave during mandatory working days (Thursday–Sunday) must be approved in advance..
