Location: The post will be based at EACH Ealing but will be required to work off-site, remotely and any of EACH's offices based on the needs of the service.

Salary: £37,128 - £42,588 per annum (Inclusive of Outer London Weighting)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

EACH Counselling and Support is a growing organisation with 50+ staff and volunteers and a presence in 10 London boroughs. We provide a wide range of therapeutic and non-therapeutic services across our core strands of Mental Health, Domestic Abuse and Substance Misuse.

EACH is launching a new three-year MOPAC funded service supporting Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) and migrant women including those with No Recourse to Public Funds who are affected by domestic abuse across North West London. Based in Ealing and working across Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow, the service offers assessments, therapeutic and group support, casework, practical help, peer-led activities and age-appropriate support for children. Delivered by a dedicated multidisciplinary team, the project empowers women and their families to address psychological, practical and emotional needs so they can move towards safer, more independent lives.

The Family Therapist will play a key role in ensuring the delivery and performance of EACH's therapeutic and non-therapeutic family services. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), primarily based in our West Ealing office with occasional travel to sites in Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow. The post is permanent, subject to continuous funding and performance.

Your key duties include:

  • Develop robust service plans, ensure effective co-ordination and performance delivery of projects.
  • Provide management and supervision to a diverse staff team.
  • Nurture strong working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based therapeutic interventions to women and their families affected by domestic abuse.

You will need:

  • A recognised qualification in family therapy, counselling, psychology or a related therapeutic discipline.
  • Staff management, leadership and supervision experience.
  • Experience delivering trauma-informed therapy to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence or related harm.
  • Experience of managing, delivering and monitoring contracted services on time.
  • Ability to develop and embed service user voice and involvement.
  • Ability to develop services in response to needs of diverse client groups.
