About the job
This position works both across the local business and in close collaboration with all levels of the corporate EBI department, members of the Legal Department, People and Culture, and other functional and business areas and resources. This position executes independent judgment in assessing compliance-related matters, supporting the business as needed, and working collaboratively with all counterparts. The position will incorporate the practice of the Strategic Pillars of Sanofi, which include:

Main Responsibilities
As a Business Partner:
- Actively participate in assigned Business Meetings and partner with the Business Heads and Support Functions to provide timely and efficient advisory, Risk Assessment services, providing solutions, helping them navigate complexities in projects involving multiple and/or ambiguous policy requirements.
- Influence relevant Team and Leadership in publicly demonstrating a commitment to the principles of E&BI.
- Facilitate co-ordination on E&BI-related initiatives and activities as a point of contact for relevant Teams.
- Provide ABPI Code and IHPIA Code advice in highly complex situations and projects.
As a Keeper of Sanofi's E&BI Program in the MCO/Affiliate:
- Collaboratively support affiliates E&BI program, such as Governance of the E&BI committee, training, monitoring, Speak Up line etc. while embedding ethics into everyday activities.
- Provide advice supporting the business and global functions to ensure appropriate decision-making regarding their projects and initiatives.
- Propagate and impress the Risk Assessment and Monitoring culture, especially among employees responsible for high-risk activities and key decisions.
- Deploy the E&BI Risk Management framework within their scope identifying and cascading any potential E&BI risk and building consistent mitigation and treatment strategies that target the root causes of risk.
- Manage the organization's risk exposure without limiting the business's ability to pursue strategy.
- Have the desire and ability to continuously adapt and learn new systems and processes as part of Sanofi's modernisation and digitalisation roadmap.
- Liaise with Ethics & Business Integrity stakeholders to share best practices and hear from other key markets initiatives for further adoption in to local market.
- Categorize key risk areas relative to Business Units and dedicated supporting functions with Leaders to address knowledge gaps and mitigate company risk.
- Provide ABPI Code of Practice training for new starters and medical signatories and also provide ongoing education as part of the UKIE's training curriculum.
- Lead PMCPA complaint management and inter-company dialogue discussions.
- Advise business regarding compliance obligations with company policies, procedures, ABPI/IPHA Code, actual or potential compliance-related issues, investigations, and resolution of such issues.
- Participate in or lead special projects, acting as a catalyst for corporate initiatives in the E&BI Organisation, such as business process improvement efforts.
- Represent Sanofi in the Ethics committees of Industries Associations, and guarantee Sanofi is shaping the environment aligned with E&BI and Sanofi strategy.
About you
Education:
- University degree, Business Administration, Finance, Legal or Life Science.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in compliance at pharmaceutical/healthcare multinational companies.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the global and domestic pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong business acumen, deep understanding of healthcare business, applicable laws and regulations, data and digital, communication skills, self-management.
- Experience of the ABPI Code of Practice and its application within the UK and IPHA for Ireland.
Skills:
