EAC Consulting Group is recruiting for a Night Shift Factory Operative on behalf of our client based in Wymbush. This is a great opportunity to join a stable business that offers long-term career progression. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and potentially progress into a Technician position with increased responsibilities and pay.
Duties:
- Lifting metal components from storage racks
- Assembling and clipping components into place
- Following work instructions and quality procedures
- Working closely with a colleague as part of a team
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
About the Role:
- Manual handling is required
- Any items over 15kg are lifted as a two-person team
- Repetitive tasks and prolonged periods of standing
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment
- PPE must be worn at all times, including safety boots, high-vis clothing and ear protection
- Gloves and safety goggles are required in certain areas
- The working environment is loud, so candidates must be comfortable working in a manufacturing setting
