We are currently seeking a Counterbalance and PPT Driver to join a busy and fast-paced team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who is experienced, reliable, and flexible with working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading and loading vehicles using Counterbalance forklift and PPT (Powered Pallet Truck)
- Checking deliveries against notes to ensure accuracy
- Identifying and raising discrepancies, ensuring stock meets pallet requirements
- Labelling pallets as required
- Loading vehicles using load manifests and ensuring loads are safe and secure
- Supporting the warehouse with pallet movements during quieter periods
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance licence with experience loading/unloading vehicles
- Experience using a PPT for loading/unloading (in-house licence accepted)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must be flexible with working hours between 06:00-18:00 to cover team absences
- Open to potential shift rotation in future
