EAC are representing a manufacturer based just outside of Northampton, they are looking for an Assembly Operative to join their busy workshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a mechanical background who is confident using hand and power tools. As an Assembly Operative you will be responsible for assembling, testing and preparing products for despatch, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard. On Offer: Salary £32,000+ Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Good attitude work ethic Physically fit so able to heavy lift Forklift License (Desirable) Must have a clean full UK driving license Key responsibilities include: Mechanical assembly of products and associated equipment Pipe fitting, drilling, sawing and general workshop/tool work Pressure testing products and carrying out quality checks Packing finished goods ready for despatch Loading and unloading vehicles using a counterbalance forklift, where licensed Occasional local deliveries and collections using company vehicles Carrying out goods-in checks and ensuring deliveries are correctly documented Checking, signing and dating delivery notes Ensuring outgoing shipments have the correct paperwork attached Moving stock into the ap...
