About the role:

This is a pivotal role responsible for coordinating the delivery of high-quality apprenticeship programmes, ensuring compliance with ESFA funding rules, Ofsted requirements and EA Technology quality standards. You will act as the operational lead for apprenticeship delivery, supporting trainers, managing processes and maintaining strong relationships with employers, learners and external bodies. You will ensure programmes are delivered effectively, learners progress successfully and all compliance and quality standards are met.

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of apprenticeship programmes across departments
  • Manage onboarding processes, ensuring all eligibility checks, documentation and system registrations (DAS, ILR) are complete and compliant
  • Support apprentices through onboarding, including skills assessments, learning plans and system access
  • Develop and maintain training plans, commitment statements and delivery schedules
  • Monitor learner progress, milestones and risks, ensuring timely completion and EPA readiness
  • Maintain accurate learner records, evidence and documentation within e-portfolio systems
  • Track and report key performance metrics including retention, achievement and progression
  • Provide regular updates to employers and learners, ensuring clear and effective communication
  • Support trainers with scheduling, learner needs and programme delivery requirements
  • Liaise with End Point Assessment Organisations to manage scheduling and gateway readiness
  • Ensure compliance with ESFA funding rules, Ofsted EIF and internal quality standards
  • Support audits, quality assurance reviews and compliance checks with the Quality & Compliance Manager
  • Lead or contribute to self-assessment reports (SAR) and continuous improvement plans
  • Act as a central point of contact for apprenticeship systems and processes
  • Build strong relationships with employers, ensuring programmes meet workforce development needs
  • Drive a learner-centred approach to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and experiences

What we’ll need from you:

  • Experience in apprenticeship delivery, coordination or administration
  • Strong understanding of ESFA funding rules, ILR, DAS and apprenticeship compliance processes
  • Experience managing learner records, data accuracy and audit requirements
  • Strong planning, organisation and scheduling capability
  • Ability to track performance metrics and use data to drive improvement
  • Experience working with learners, employers and training teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong IT skills, including learner management systems and data tools (e.g. Excel)

Desirable:

  • Experience with e-portfolio platforms (e.g. OneFile, Smart Assessor, PICS, EPA Pro)
  • Knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and quality assurance processes
  • Experience supporting multiple apprenticeship standards or programmes
  • Experience preparing for audits, inspections or compliance reviews
  • Project or change management experience within an education or training environment
  • Experience engaging with employers or supporting workforce development initiatives
