This is a hybrid role which requires you to be on-site in Capenhurst near Chester (CH1 6ES) for 2 days per week. Please apply ONLY if you live within a reasonable commuting distance.
About the role:
- Support the sales team with the creation, formatting and submission of quotations and commercial proposals.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to tailor proposals to client requirements as and when required.
- Track quote activity, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system (e.g. customer data, opportunity pipeline, leads).
- Monitor and respond to customer enquiries received via shared inboxes/phone calls, escalating queries to the appropriate internal teams where necessary.
- Complete supplier pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) and tender documentation.
- Checking of portals for Tender opportunities and issuing to relevant personnel.
- Supporting Bid Manager in the creation of all tender submissions.
- Providing telesales support and assisting BDMs with travel and customer visit planning.
- Support all other sales office support functions as and when required.
- Support the adoption of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to improve efficiency in producing proposal content, managing a searchable database of standard responses for PQQs, tenders and compliance documentation.
What we’ll need from you:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in the tender process & customer portals would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrable experience in preparing quotes, proposals and PQQ/tender documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM and document control systems preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple disciplines and meet tight deadlines.
What we can offer you:
- £25,000 - £27,000 per annum.
