Due to continuous growth and expansion, we’re looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Asset Management & Power Systems Studies department on a 12-month fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role. This role operates within a hybrid working model, incorporating both remote working and on-site attendance at our Capenhurst (CH1 6ES) facility.
About the role:
As a Senior Consultant within our AMPSS team, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in managing, maintaining and improving their electrical assets and safety systems. You will bring deep technical knowledge and strong consultancy capability to help develop policies, documentation and safe systems of work aligned with industry standards.
- Delivering expert consultancy across electrical asset management, electrical safety systems and maintenance practices
- Developing and reviewing policies, technical documentation and safe systems of work
- Ensuring all recommendations align with relevant standards, including ISO 55000
- Providing technical guidance and solutions to clients and internal teams
- Supporting audits, assessing compliance and identifying improvement opportunities
- Contributing to the development of EA Technology’s Asset Management services and methodologies
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes
What we’ll need from you:
Qualifications & expertise
- Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
- Audit certificate in Asset Management
- Chartered Engineer status (desirable)
Skills & experience
- Strong background in electrical asset management and electrical safety systems
- Experience in electrical maintenance
- Experience in policy creation, documentation review and safe systems of work
- Knowledge of ISO 55000 and industry best practices
- Ability to work effectively as a consultant, engaging with clients at all levels
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities
- Ability to work independently within a hybrid working pattern
