About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to support the day-to-day manufacture of EA Technology's hardware products, ensuring technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently to maintain quality or production throughput. Working as part of our Production Engineering team, you will focus on improving manufacturability, supporting released products and driving continuous improvements across our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day manufacturing and build activities by resolving technical issues that impact quality or production throughput.
- Maintain work instructions, build methods and engineering documentation to ensure consistent production standards.
- Investigate build and test failures, implementing approved corrective actions and escalating design-related issues where appropriate.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure engineering changes are implemented accurately and safely.
- Support line balancing, workstation improvements and process changes to reduce waste and rework.
- Provide engineering input into tooling, fixtures and build aids to improve manufacturability and consistency.
- Analyse production data to identify recurring issues and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support the training and coaching of production staff on technical processes and engineering changes.
- Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners and internal teams to improve production processes and resolve build issues.
Requirements
- Strong technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience working within manufacturing, production or operational engineering environments.
- Experience maintaining technical documentation and supporting evidence-based quality control processes.
- Ability to use production data and engineering tools to diagnose issues and monitor performance.
- Understanding of safe working practices and risk management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, provisioning, supply chain or service logistics principles.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, production and quality teams.

- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications (e.g. electrical, manufacturing or engineering disciplines).
- Experience using production monitoring, data analysis or quality management tools.
- Experience working with manufacturing partners or contract manufacturers.
