Due to continued growth and increased demand, we’re looking for a Delivery & Product Operations Lead (AIM/Invest) to join our team. About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the end-to-end delivery, deployment and live operation of AIM/Invest solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery while driving the transition from bespoke, SQL-based delivery towards scalable, standardised product configurations.
You will balance delivery execution with operational control, ensuring support demand is managed effectively and continuous improvement is embedded across processes, tooling and ways of working.
- Own delivery execution across AIM/Invest projects, ensuring all work is visible, prioritised and delivered to agreed milestones
- Plan and manage capacity across project delivery and support demand, making informed trade-offs where required
- Enforce delivery discipline, ensuring work is tracked and aligned to agreed processes and governance
- Oversee delivery of customer solutions, including model build, data configuration and system setup
- Deploy and maintain customer environments, including database operations, monitoring, backups and configuration
- Manage support visibility, triage and routing, driving reduction in repeat issues and avoidable demand
- Lead resolution of complex delivery and operational issues, ensuring structured problem-solving and minimal disruption
- Continuously improve deployment processes, documentation and operational standards
- Drive the transition from bespoke SQL-based delivery to standardised, product-led configuration approaches
- Work closely with Product, Consulting and Sales teams to align delivery capacity with product direction and customer commitments
What we’ll need from you:
- Proven experience leading delivery and operations for software or data-driven products
- Strong technical understanding of deployment and operations for data-centric applications (e.g. databases, monitoring, backups)
- Strong SQL and data handling capability for configuration, validation and troubleshooting
- Experience translating customer requirements into working system configurations or solutions
- Experience managing competing delivery and support priorities while maintaining control and visibility
- Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with service management processes and support triage
Desirable:
- Experience transitioning from bespoke delivery to standardised, product-led approaches
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD or infrastructure-as-code
- Knowledge of utilities, asset management or regulated environments
- Familiarity with ITIL or structured service management frameworks
