This is an opportunity to join our DCL Licensor Management team as an Assistant Producer. We are a part of the EA SPORTS FC Development team and work with all our partners across the football world to ensure that our games are as authentic as possible. Our team manage the implementation of league and competition branding and play an important role in the inclusion of assets such as kits, adboards, broadcast overlays, stadiums and starheads in our games.
We are looking for someone who’s passionate about football in a way that goes well beyond supporting your favourite team. You follow the game and its culture across the world, keeping up to date with the latest changes spanning brands, leagues, clubs, and apparel. Is that you? This full-time position is based at EA Guildford and our expectation is that you’ll be with us in the office three days per week - Tuesday to Thursday - alongside the rest of our team. Whether you work from the office or home on Monday and Friday is your decision. Our standard working hours are 9am until 5.30pm but sometimes we work a little later in the afternoon to overlap with our colleagues at EA Vancouver. You will report to DCL’s Lead Licensing Producer.
What will you do?
- Build strong relationships with our licensors so that we’re ahead of the game when it comes to knowing about forthcoming releases or branding changes.
- Collaborate with our licensors to ensure that we have reference for all the licensed football content that we include in our FC titles.
- Ensure we have the necessary approvals from licensors for authentic licensed football content included in our titles.
- Verify that all licensed content is correctly integrated and assigned across our full slate of game titles.
- Contribute to project management of all the licensor management work that takes place.
What skills will you develop?
- You’ll learn how to build relationships with our partners - the biggest football brands in the world - and how to communicate with them daily.
- You’ll gain knowledge of football licensing across the full range of licensed assets that are included in EA SPORTS FC titles, with a focus on kits.
- You’ll build project management skills, including experience of a waterfall working environment and use of Jira/JaaS.
- You’ll acquire an understanding of the game development process.
