About the Role

The purpose of the Key Account Manager – Fire Systems role is to drive organic maintenance growth across the business and wider Group companies. You will focus on developing long-term relationships within key client sectors and FM markets, identifying opportunities to grow recurring revenue through maintenance contracts, upselling, cross-selling, and new business development. Role is based in London / Surrey area.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive sales growth and recurring revenue within targeted sectors
  • Develop strategic upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the wider Group
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
  • Manage the sales pipeline through SimPRO, including retention and call cycle activity
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations
  • Ensure all compliance standards and company procedures are followed
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, competitors, and sector activity
  • Attend client and FM review meetings alongside the Sales & Service Manager
  • Identify opportunities outside existing account scopes and support wider sales growth

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of the Fire & Security industry and associated services
  • FIA Level 1 / 2
  • Compliant with BS 8539 series
  • Commercially aware, customer-focused, and results-driven
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing key accounts and developing long-term client relationships
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and manage sales pipelines effectively
  • Organised, proactive, and confident working independently and within a team
  • Experience using CRM systems such as SimPRO advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence
