We are seeking an experienced Static Fire Service Engineer to join our team, working full-time at a single customer site. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in servicing and maintaining life safety systems, ensuring all fire protection equipment remains fully operational and compliant. You must live within 45 minutes of the site. A vehicle will be provided to help with travel.

What We're Looking For:
You will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, and testing of a range of fire detection and suppression systems, working closely with the client to deliver a first-class engineering service. Proven experience servicing and maintaining:
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Gas Suppression Systems
- VESDA Detection Systems
- Fire Extinguishing Equipment
Key Responsibilities include:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire safety systems in accordance with relevant British Standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Service, maintain, test, and fault-find on fire alarm systems.
- Maintain and service gas suppression systems, including control panels and associated equipment.
- Service and test VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) systems.
- Inspect and maintain fire extinguishing systems and portable fire extinguishers where required.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise system downtime.
- Complete routine inspections, functional testing, and compliance checks.
- Produce accurate service reports and maintenance records using digital reporting systems.
- Liaise professionally with the on-site client and provide technical support where required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures and health & safety legislation.
- Escalate recommendations for remedial works or system upgrades where appropriate.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards within plant rooms and engineering areas.
