EA Recruitment have been instructed to recruit a Block Manager for their client, a highly respected and well-established independent estate agency covering the areas of Northwest and Central London. This Block Manager role is now available due to the expansion and success of their Block Management department. We are looking for an experienced Block Manager with at least 1.5 years' experience who is looking for the opportunity to work within a friendly and professional environment. Interviewing now with an immediate start available.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Block Management director and team
  • Dealing with Clients and Lessees
  • Managing your own portfolio
  • Ensuring that you are giving excellent customer service
  • Dealing with queries verbally and in written form
  • Dealing with day-to-day maintenance (for all communal areas), ensuring the process (from the problem being reported to its completion) is handled effectively and efficiently
  • Dealing with contractors to get progress reports on works
  • To place orders with suppliers and liaise with them accordingly
  • Manage e-mails
  • Negotiate annual service charge
  • Produce annual expenditure/budget for clients
  • Assist with the issuing of all letters to customers
  • Handling insurance claims (acting as post box)
  • Raising jobs on the database and dealing with access arrangements for suppliers
  • Attending meetings with clients to discuss Accounts and renewals and major projects
  • Raising ad-hoc problems regarding workloads and matters of a more urgent nature, as and when they occur

Experience/skills required:

  • Block Management experience or Residential Property Management experience is essential
  • Excellent standard of verbal and written English
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
  • Professional approach with great listening skills

£36k salary pa. Plus bonus. Working hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays. Opportunity to have a long-term career. Ready for an immediate start. Superb company.
