EA Gibson Shipbrokers is looking to recruit a Junior or Trainee LPG Product Broker to work on the LPG desk in our London office. You will contribute to Gibson’s broking presence globally, effectively and profitably conclude LPG product deals working in conjunction with an existing team, and with existing and new clients. For this role you will ideally have some shipping or LPG experience, be motivated and driven to succeed. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their broking career and add value to a team.

This role will include time spent within our operations, analysis and shipping teams, as well as time spent with our Singapore office.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Profitably generate income from servicing existing and new clients, working with the team to drive this.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and new clients for enduring business support.
  • Face to face relationship building, individually and with colleagues across Gibson’s product and LPG desk.
  • Be able to assimilate market intelligence and trends to support clients, colleagues, and Gibson’s internal research function.
  • Diligently update proprietary software for company reporting, client support and the research database.
  • Commitment to travel internationally to engage with colleagues in other main offices and for training purposes.
