A well-regarded independent school for girls in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Support Coordinator to join their pastoral team on a term-time only basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with young people, particularly within education, safeguarding, or pastoral care, who is looking for a rewarding and structured role within the school year. As the Student Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in providing pastoral care and daily support to students, helping to create a warm, safe and caring environment within the House. You\’ll work closely with the Housemistress and wider House Team to ensure routines run smoothly and pupils feel supported and valued. Key Responsibilities: Offer day-to-day pastoral support and guidance to girls within the House Assist in the smooth running of daily routines and ensure a positive and respectful environment Work collaboratively with the Housemistress and colleagues to address any wellbeing or safeguarding concerns Promote the welfare and wellbeing of students, supporting with any issues that arise during the school day Be a trusted adult presence who helps uphold the school\’s values and standards A background in working with young people, ideally in education, residential care, youth work, or a safeguarding-related role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A calm, supportive, and proactive approach A genuine passion for helping young people thrive both emotionally and academically Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Onsite parking Free lunch 07:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday 35 weeks per year (term time only) EA First Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency for this permanent vacancy
