We're looking for a systems-orientated Administrator to join our client in Southampton on a 6-month fixed term contract. You'll be supporting with the implementation and transition of a new computer system, where you'll have a broad range of duties including:
- Checking and testing of the data inputted vs system output.
- Data migration.
- Perform defined data quality and control checks.
- Parallel comparisons against legacy systems.
- Input into user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
- Ensure data quality issues are identified and resolved.
- Identify, track, challenge, and escalate data trends.
- Resolve anomalies.
- Contribute to and maintain process documentation.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with systems, has high attention to detail and a good knowledge of Excel including pivot tables, look‑ups and reconciliation techniques.
Any experience in the below points would be useful, but not essential:
- Web‑based operational and data platforms, including system navigation, data interrogation, and validation.
- Proficiency in web‑based ticket and workflow tools (e.g. Jira or equivalent).
- Capability to execute SQL queries and data extracts for reconciliation, validation, and investigation purposes.
Location: Southampton
Duration: 6-month fixed term contract
Hours: Monday-Friday - 37.5 hours per week
