Our client is an established organization seeking to improve their ways of working as they invest. The role is based in Peterborough with hybrid working options.

Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage complex projects from inception to completion. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to foster organizational readiness and sustained value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with company goals
  2. Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients
  4. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  5. Provide updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders
  6. Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices
  7. Mentor and support other project managers and team members
  8. Foster a positive work environment
  9. Establish and manage the PMO, defining processes, standards, and practices
