We're supporting a global organisation undergoing a significant technology transformation and are looking to appoint a Manager, Platforms Management to lead a team responsible for the performance, stability and evolution of several business-critical enterprise platforms. This is a leadership role with responsibility for both the day-to-day operation and longer-term development of platforms that support users across multiple regions and business functions.
The Role: You'll be responsible for ensuring platforms remain secure, reliable, scalable and aligned to the needs of the business, whilst leading a multidisciplinary team of platform specialists, administrators and technical professionals. Working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architecture, cybersecurity and infrastructure teams, you'll play a key role in shaping platform strategy and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of platform professionals
- Defining and delivering platform roadmaps
- Driving platform performance, availability and operational excellence
- Managing upgrades, patches, lifecycle management and technology refresh activities
- Working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities
