Would you like to be leading on developing and expanding a range of embedded computer and digital video products? This is an exciting opportunity to get inside the heart of the expanding and vibrant digital video plus AI/ML technology industry, in a Hardware Digital Design Engineer role. Working out of their research and development lab near Ely, Cambridgeshire you'll be working with a dynamic team of Electronics and Software Engineers with responsibilities including: Hardware design of new products – from feasibility to production Schematic design using Cadence/Orcad/Altium PCB layout review Preparing design documentation Supporting the product development life cycle – specification, prototyping, functional testing, validation. Working with sales team to define solutions in response to customer requirements Working with engineering team to provide support to customers If you have experience in the following areas, we'd like to hear from you: Design of high speed digital / analogue circuits The following interfaces: PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 Video interfaces: HDMI/DVI, HD-SDI, DP, VGA, Composite Experience of Programmable Logic, FPGA and microControllers Programming in C/C++ Working knowledge of MS Office applicationsYou'll have the ability to probe issues and understand the root causes, as well as recognise short-falls in process and suggest improvements.
