Looking to join an innovative, fast-growing technology company as their Product Compliance Engineer?
You will own the product compliance for devices and be the technical owner for ATEX/IECEx/NRTL (UL) certification and radio/EMC compliance (ETSI, FCC), ensuring the designs, documentation, and manufacturing records meet IEC/EN/UL standards, as well as applicable EMC/RED/FCC rules.
You will coordinate closely with the Engineering and Operations Teams to build the compliance rationale, while maintaining rigorous control over hardware files, mechanical drawings, UL material evidence, labels, and Safety/User Guides required for Product Compliance.
There is the opportunity for growth with the potential to be involved in the electronic design of future products.

We're looking for someone with:
- A degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or closely related). Equivalent experience considered.
- Experience in product compliance/certification for electronic hardware.
- Proven ability to read schematics and review PCB layouts/Gerbers.
- Track record delivering ATEX/IECEx/NRTL (UL) approvals.
- FCC/EMC/Radio competence and test planning.
- MS Office.
The following experience would be desirable:
- Experience with Cognidox, KiCAD, Adobe Illustrator and SolidWorks.
- Direct involvement in HazLoc/Ex or other safety-critical certifications.
- Direct experience with IEC/EN/UL standards and an awareness of relevant system considerations and DSD authorship.
- Experience with battery-powered Ex products and safe-area battery servicing instructions.
- Knowledge of LoRaWAN network behaviour and BLE coexistence considerations.
- Familiarity with Ex-rated enclosures, antennas, glands, and earthing/bonding practices.
- Exposure to ISO 9001 and audit participation.
You will have:
- Meticulous accuracy in documentation; treating BOMs/drawings/manuals as safety artefacts.
- Clear, concise technical writer and communicator.
- Proactive, collaborative and can-do attitude.
- Calm and organised under audit pressure and excellent prioritisation skills.
