Based in Birmingham, my client is seeking a commercially minded Interim Procurement Finance Analyst to join the Finance team and work closely with the Procurement and Finance Business Partner team. My client is a UK-based production company that has a portfolio of well-known brands sold not only in the UK but across Europe.
As Interim Procurement Finance Analyst reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner you will:
- Deliver end-to-end procurement reporting (PPV, inventory, supplier spend, monthly bridges)
- Provide clear analysis and actionable insights to support decision-making
- Prepare periodic statutory submissions (HMRC, EPR, Scope 3 emissions)
- Prepare month-end journal entries for procurement areas of the P&L
- Review actual input costs and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare summary cost reviews for senior finance stakeholders
- Load and schedule monthly costs in the system
- Complete stock and depletion reconciliations
The most desirable Interim Procurement Finance Analyst application will:
- Have strong analytical and reporting skills from partnering with procurement
- Be experienced in finance, management accounting, or procurement finance (highly desirable)
- Have the confidence of working with large data sets and finance systems
