My client based in Birmingham is seeking a Management Accountant to support the finance team in providing accurate and timely financial information My client is a PE backed services company based in Birmingham, that operate in key sectors that support the community. As Management Accountant reporting to the Financial Controller you will: Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Produce weekly sales reports, staff utilisation reports and aged debt reports Prepare weekly and monthly payroll for processing Prepare weekly supplier payments Analyse variances against budget and forecast and provide explanations Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements Conduct detailed analysis of costs, identifying trends and areas of potential savings or efficiency improvements Use Excel to an advanced level to make reporting more efficient The most desirable applicant for this Management Accountant role will: Be at least part-qualified with demonstrable experience Hold a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not essential Have proven experience in management accounting or a similar finance role, ideally in a fast-paced environment Be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel (PivotTable’s, IF Functions etc.) Upto £40,000 plus bonus EA Firs…
