You'll work across forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvement - playing a key role in delivering the data and insight that fuels strategic decisions across the business. We're partnered with an ambitious and growing business in the life sciences space, who are on a mission to simplify risk-based quality management in clinical trials. Their technology directly improves the safety and efficiency of trials - contributing to life-saving outcomes. As they continue to scale, they're looking for a commercially astute Financial Analyst to join their high-performing Finance team.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead forecasting and modelling: Maintain and refine the company's Win & Revenue forecast and support the evolution of broader financial models.
- Produce insightful reporting: Own monthly sales win reporting, produce rolling cashflow forecasts, and contribute to monthly management packs with actionable insights.
- Support financial operations: Assist in preparing year-end audit schedules and contribute to the company's R&D Tax Credit submissions.
- Drive systems improvement: Help implement a fixed asset tracking system and support finance-led system and reporting upgrades.
- Champion process enhancement: Contribute to projects aimed at improving financial infrastructure and standardising reporting across the group.
What they're looking for:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience with strong financial grounding)
- Advanced Excel user, confident with pivot tables, modelling, and data integration
- Comfortable creating professional, insightful presentations using PowerPoint
- Strong analytical thinker with great attention to detail
- Self-starter, confident managing your own workload in a remote environment
Desirable experience:
- Familiarity with ARR and revenue recognition
- Power BI or similar BI/reporting tools
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments
- Exposure to finance system implementation or process improvement initiatives
