Are you an Engineering Manager with a collaborative leadership style and a growth mindset? Are you proactive, resilient and interested in exploring new ideas and technology? We're pleased to share details of this incredible opportunity for an Engineering Manager, based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

You'll be responsible for leading and developing the Engineering team and delivering innovative, commercially successful and manufacturable products through effective project management, people leadership and cross-functional collaboration. The role focuses primarily on leadership - of the team, engineering projects and the overall direction of the department - with a secondary part of the role being practical work within the team (approximately 70% management and 30% practical work).

You'll be a natural leader who enjoys managing a team, inspiring a team and budget management as well as the following four key areas:

  • Developing strategic technology and product development plan
  • Lead the team to deliver engineering projects on plan & on budget
  • Build a network with external partners
  • Provide engineering support as required

You'll be used to managing a multidisciplinary engineering team, with the experience in coaching and developing engineers, managing change and building confidence within a team to try new approaches.
