Our client is involved in a Transformation project and is looking for someone who has experience of setting up shared service centres specifically the accounts payable functions, delivered process and system change through implementation, including transition planning, cutover and stabilisation.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and mobilising the AP shared services model, including its scope, governance, roles and transition plan.
- Managing market readiness, cutover, issue resolution and support after go-live, while maintaining payment controls and day-to-day service.
- Standardising AP processes, controls and ways of working across Group, regional and local finance teams.
- Working with Finance, IT, Procurement and system partners to deliver AP system and workflow changes.
- Leading stakeholder communication, training and adoption so that new processes work in practice.
- Establishing service measures, reporting and issue management, then handing over a documented model, outstanding actions and improvement plan.
You will bring proven experience of setting up or transforming AP shared services in a FTSE 250 organisation, ideally across multiple countries, businesses or operating companies. You will understand the full procure-to-pay process, from invoice capture and approvals through to supplier queries, payments and controls. Experience designing service levels, KPIs and the responsibilities retained by local teams will be valuable.
