The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for leading the Group's statutory consolidation and reporting processes at half-year and year-end. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant IFRS reporting across the Group.
This role sits within a £4 bn t/o, and growing, international group. Expansion in to new territories is creating career progression and this role represents a great opportunity to join the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end consolidation process for half-year and year-end
- Prepare Group and UK statutory financial statements ensuring full IFRS compliance
- Review and validate subsidiary submissions
- Prepare and post consolidation journals including inter-company eliminations and adjustments
- Perform detailed variance analysis on consolidated results
- Act as primary contact for external auditors
- Ensure strong internal controls over group reporting and consolidation adjustments
- Provide technical expertise on IFRS accounting treatments
This role will require an ACA qualified accountant with strong experience in group consolidation and statutory reporting. you will have gained your qualification in a large audit firm and have had exposure to complex group structures.
C£90,000 plus benefit
