EA First is partnering with a highly regarded independent accountancy firm in Cambridgeshire to recruit a Bookkeeper for its growing outsourced finance team.
This is an opportunity to support a varied portfolio of businesses with their day-to-day finance requirements, working as part of an established and supportive team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing client invoices and maintaining accurate accounting records
- Completing bank reconciliations within agreed timescales
- Managing data entry and sales and purchase ledgers
- Drafting client payment runs
- Raising sales invoices and supporting credit control
- Keeping workflow and task-management systems accurate and up to date
- Responding to client requirements professionally and promptly
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Raising any risks or errors with the appropriate manager
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of client service
You may already be working as a Bookkeeper within an accountancy practice, outsourced finance provider or in-house finance team. xgikmsk

- Practical bookkeeping and ledger-management experience
- Experience completing bank reconciliations and processing invoices
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- The ability to manage several priorities and meet deadlines
