This role is a new position brought in support of the EPMO Lead and manage the overall project management process. It will probably best suit a candidate with some experience of PMO and exposure to project management methodology. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Project Oversight and Governance: Ensuring projects align with established methodologies and follow governance structures to maintain consistency and quality across all projects.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improving project management processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.
- Resource Management: Ensuring optimal allocation and utilisation of resources (time, people, budget, etc.) across all projects, and addressing any resource constraints or issues that arise.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks across projects, creating mitigation strategies, and providing ongoing risk monitoring and reporting.
- Support and Training: Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to project managers and teams to develop their skills and ensure consistent project delivery.
- Reporting and Communication: Ensuring regular and transparent reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, progress, risks, and resource needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met, and managing expectations throughout the project life cycle.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant regulations or internal policies.
- Change Management: Leading and supporting change management efforts, ensuring that project changes are properly managed, communicated, and implemented across the organisation.
This role will suit a PMO who is looking for an opportunity to develop their career and broaden their skill sets. You will understand project management methodology e.g. PRINCE2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence the leadership are key. £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits.
