We're looking for an ambitious, driven Business Development Executive to join a rapidly growing international organisation that works with some of the world's leading automotive manufacturers, suppliers and technology businesses.

If you're naturally competitive, enjoy speaking with people and love the idea of building relationships with global brands, we'd love to hear from you.

This isn't a call centre role and it isn't high-volume telesales.

You'll be introducing organisations to a globally recognised automotive network, helping them understand how corporate partnerships, sponsorship opportunities and industry events can support both their commercial goals and their people strategy.

As a Business Development Executive you will be working closely with the Founder and senior commercial team, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities across the UK and internationally.

Your day could include

  • Researching target organisations
  • Prospecting through Linked In, email and outbound calls
  • Booking meetings with senior decision makers
  • Introducing companies to our membership and sponsorship opportunities
  • Managing your own sales pipeline
  • Updating the CRM
  • Supporting the commercial team with international events and campaigns

You'll receive full training on our services, sales process and systems, giving you the tools to build a successful career in commercial sales.

We're far more interested in attitude than industry experience.

You'll ideally have

  • 1-3 years' experience in a Business Development, Sales Executive, SDR, BDR or similar commercial role
  • Confidence speaking with senior professionals
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
  • The ability to work independently and a genuine desire to build a career in sales
  • Be local to Maidstone, Kent

Experience within events, sponsorship, professional services or B2B sales would be advantageous but isn't essential. This role will suit someone who:

  • Loves speaking with people
  • Enjoys winning new business
  • Is resilient and doesn't give up after one "no"
  • Takes ownership of their own workload
  • Wants to learn from experienced commercial leaders
  • Is motivated by commission and career progression
  • Uncapped commission
  • Hybrid working (3 days in the Maidstone office / 2 from home)
  • Full sales training and ongoing mentoring
  • Clear career progression as the commercial team grows
  • Opportunity to attend international automotive events
  • Work with globally recognised brands
  • Join a business making a genuine impact on diversity across the automotive industry
