The mission for this role is to lead financial strategy and core administrative functions. To improve cash flow, reduce operating costs, and support growth. The Finance Director will ensure operational excellence, compliance, and informed strategic decision making.

The Finance Director will be a key part of the leadership team. You will have responsibility for the business administration including HR, Procurement, Health and Safety and company secretary.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and reporting.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead standardisation and continuous improvement of end-to-end business administration.
  • Analyse financial data and market trends to provide guidance on potential investments, risks, and strategic opportunities for medium to long-term planning.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR and Finance and business administration teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage procurement strategies and non-inventory supplier relationships.
  • Establish and monitor internal controls and finance policies.

The Finance Director will be a qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA finance professional with experience of operating in a manufacturing environment. You will be a problem solver and strategic thinker with experience of a similar broad role with responsibilities for the wider administration of the business.
