Our client, a leading engineering solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join their expanding multi-disciplinary team in Warwickshire. Based in North Warwickshire, our client is a specialist engineering organisation known for delivering innovative automation, control and electrical solutions across a wide range of industries. As Electrical Designer, you will play a key role throughout the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed electrical schematics, cable drawings and connection schedules
- Designing control panels for manufacture (internal and external panel builders)
- Creating BOMs and selecting appropriate equipment and instrumentation
- Conducting site surveys for upgrades and system improvements
- Developing electrical drawing packs from existing installations
- Producing test documentation
- Supporting panel testing and commissioning
- Assisting with fault-finding and continuous design improvements
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards
You’ll be involved in varied, technically interesting projects, often working closely with engineers from multiple disciplines to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
Qualifications

- 5+ years' experience in electrical design (control panel design)
- Strong background in control panel and cable installation design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SEE Electrical, or similar
- Experience producing full electrical drawing packs

- Understanding of relevant electrical standards
Desirable:
- Pneumatics design experience
- Experience working closely with panel builders
- ATEX directive experience
