We\’re pleased to be recruiting for a pro-active and solution driven Credit Controller, based in Ely.
This position is initially 6 months on a temporary basis, working 4 or 5 days per week, on a hybrid basis between office and home.
In this varied role, you\’ll be:
- Manage your own customer portfolio, including creating new customer accounts and updating existing ones.
- Perform month-end closing tasks such as calculating bad debt accruals and reconciling suspense accounts.
- Conduct creditworthiness checks.
- Proactively contact customers with outstanding balances and prioritise follow-ups accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments.
- Investigate and monitor disputed claims.
- Ensure accurate reporting.
- Initiate legal collection procedures and monitor their progress.
- Process data and maintain credit limits in accordance with internal procedures.
- Post bank transactions.
We\’re looking for someone with credit control experience who can demonstrate achievements within this area.
You will be proficient in Microsoft Dynamics AX and Excel along with being able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Ely, Cambridgeshire (with hybrid working available)

Monday-Friday – 4 or 5 days per week
