We're pleased to be recruiting multiple Customer Service Associates, on temporary three-month contracts to support our client with a short-term project. These positions are based in North Cambridge and are fully office based, working Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm.
You will handle client contact across telephone, email, and written communication, ensuring that all messaging is delivered clearly and consistently. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication control, and the ability to remain calm and structured under pressure.
On a typical day, duties will include:
- Handle inbound and outbound client queries via telephone and email
- Deliver approved messaging clearly and consistently using defined scripts and templates
- Support clients in understanding changes to processes
- Adapt communication for clients who may need additional support or clarity
- Follow strict communication protocols
- Reinforce 'how we will and will not contact you' principles in client interactions
- Identify and escalate suspicious activity, potential fraud indicators, or client concerns
- Log all client interactions accurately in internal systems
- Maintain a complete and auditable record of communication activity
- Resolve straightforward client queries efficiently
- Recognise and escalate queries where necessary
- Follow defined escalation pathways without deviation
Full training will be provided. Ideally, you'll have customer service/call centre experience, along with:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow defined processes and scripts with discipline
- Calm, controlled approach in a high-volume environment
- Good judgement when identifying issues and escalating appropriately
- Comfortable working with systems
- Team-oriented with a professional and reliable approach
