Deputy MRLO

Job Title: Deputy MLRO Location: Central London (3-days per week onsite) Contract Duration: 3-6-months initially (potential extension afterwards) Rate: £600 – £700 per day Inside IR35/Umbrella We\’re looking for an experienced Deputy MLRO to join a well-established financial institution on an interim basis 3-6 months . In this role, you\’ll support the Head of Compliance & MLRO, lead a small team, and ensure robust oversight of the financial crime compliance framework across AML, CTF, sanctions, fraud prevention and more. What you\’ll do: Act as deputy to the MLRO and provide subject matter expertise. Lead financial crime governance, reporting, and risk assessments. Support client onboarding, transaction monitoring, and escalations. Deliver training and guidance across the business. Mentor and develop compliance team members. What we\’re looking for: 7+ years\’ compliance/financial crime experience within financial services. Strong knowledge of UK AML and financial crime regulations. Team leadership experience. Confident communicator with senior stakeholders. Prior Deputy MLRO/MLRO experience desirable. To be considered for this role, please submit your CV in application.
