Who are EA Change?
EA Change is a specialist recruitment and consulting business providing business transformation, digital, data and technology expertise across Financial Services, Government and regulated industries. At the heart of our culture are our people. We are a values-led, collaborative and inclusive organisation, committed to doing things properly and building long-term partnerships - with our clients, our people and the communities we work in.
Our Futures Programme
Futures is our Hire–Train–Deploy graduate programme, designed to attract, train and deploy high-potential graduates into meaningful roles across digital, data and technology change initiatives. This role is not a traditional recruiter position. It sits closer to talent acquisition, focusing on identifying potential, assessing suitability, and supporting individuals through their early careers.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Trainee Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our Bristol team and support the continued growth of the Futures programme. This role will suit someone early in their career who is:
- Bright, positive and people-focused
- Comfortable with structured, sometimes repetitive processes
- Motivated by progression, responsibility and earning potential
- Interested in recruitment or talent acquisition as a long-term career
You’ll work closely with senior members of the Futures and leadership teams and play a key role in shaping the next generation of talent joining EA Change and our clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing applications into the Futures programme and guiding candidates through the assessment process
- Conducting qualification calls and video interviews to assess potential, motivation and cultural fit
- Making informed, fair judgements on candidate suitability
- Supporting graduates once placed, building strong professional relationships
- Helping articulate the Futures proposition clearly and confidently to candidates
- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the Futures programme
Over time, the role will broaden as the programme grows, with opportunities to get involved in mentoring relationships, proposition development and wider talent initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone early in their career who shows strong potential and is willing to grow with us. You may have:
- 1–2 years’ experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, sales or a customer-facing commercial role
- Or be a graduate with clear evidence of responsibility, achievement or progression
Most importantly, you will demonstrate:
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- A positive, resilient and self-motivated mindset
- Willingness to learn and take ownership
- Alignment with EA Change’s values
- Confidence to engage with a wide range of people
Experience matters less than attitude, potential and cultural fit.
Progression & Development
This role is designed as a foundation role within a growing proposition. Typical progression could include:
- Developing into a senior Talent Acquisition role within Futures
- Managing cohorts and relationships as the programme scales
- Potential exposure to wider internal recruitment or commercial activity
Progression is based on performance, engagement and contribution - not time served.
Working Pattern
Bristol-based role
Initially office-based during settling-in period
Flexible, hybrid working available once established
Being part of the Bristol team is important, particularly during the early stages of the role.
Why Join EA Change?
This is an opportunity to join a growing business and a developing proposition at the right time. You’ll be trusted, supported and given room to grow - while being part of a collaborative, high-energy team that genuinely cares about what it’s building. If you’re looking for a role where you can learn, contribute and progress, we’d love to hear from you.
