We’re hiring a Solution Architect to join a growing technology business based in Bristol. This is a high-impact role with influence across product direction, architecture, and platform strategy.
You’ll be the technical authority in a cross-functional team, driving modern architecture decisions and ensuring scalable, maintainable solutions across cloud, data, and software. Collaborating closely with engineering and product teams, you’ll shape the technical roadmap, promote engineering best practices, and guide delivery through to production. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a strategic role with visibility across the business and play a key part in future growth.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record of architecting robust and scalable software solutions
- Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation
- Deep understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g. Serverless, Microservices, Event-driven, DDD)
- Background in software engineering, preferably with expertise in the .NET stack
- Excellent knowledge of Azure services
- Experience with API design and integration strategies
- Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerisation
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and provide technical guidance
- Agile delivery experience
Desirable:
- Familiarity with front-end architecture (e.g., Angular)
- Experience with data warehousing and reporting solutions
- Exposure to security, performance, and cloud cost optimisation
