Our well known banking client is seeking a Power BI & Data Modelling Specialist to design scalable datasets, build high-quality dashboards, and support the development of an AI‑ready BI environment. You’ll play a key role in strengthening data governance, performance, and integration with platforms like ServiceNow.
Requirements
- Design and optimise Power BI data models, datasets, and semantic layers
- Develop interactive dashboards and paginated reports
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Power Query (M) and SQL
- Write efficient DAX for KPIs and complex business logic
- Manage Power BI Service (workspaces, refresh, performance, access)
- Integrate Power BI with automation tools (e.g. Power Automate, ServiceNow)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into BI solutions
- Document data lineage, models, and reporting logic
- Support AI‑ready datasets and automation use cases
Key Skills
- Must have worked within banking
- Advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions)
- Dimensional modelling & data warehousing knowledge
- Experience with ETL/data pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
