We’re supporting a large-scale digital transformation programme for a highly regulated international organisation undergoing significant technology change following a recent business integration. This is an opportunity for an experienced Technical Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering the final stages of a complex workplace and identity transformation programme. You’ll operate across solution design, stakeholder engagement, and architectural governance, working closely with senior technology leadership and delivery teams.
The Role
You’ll lead architecture activities across several ongoing workstreams focused on workplace modernisation, identity consolidation, SaaS migration, and end-user technology transformation. The role sits between enterprise architecture and delivery, requiring someone comfortable operating strategically while remaining close to execution and technical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Own solution architecture across remaining workplace transformation activities
- Lead design discussions and architectural decision-making across multiple workstreams
- Support identity and access management consolidation initiatives
- Define integration approaches across cloud and SaaS platforms
- Provide architecture governance and design authority oversight
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to communicate technical direction and business impact
- Coordinate with delivery, infrastructure, applications, and security teams
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Solution Architect or Modern Workplace Architect
- Strong background delivering digital workplace or modern workplace transformation programmes
- Expertise across Microsoft identity technologies including Entra ID / IAM
- Experience designing M365 integration solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level
- Experience operating within regulated environments such as financial services, insurance, or banking
- Strong delivery focus with experience coordinating across multiple technical teams
Desirable Experience
- Identity consolidation or separation programmes
- Workday integrations and SSO design
- Virtual desktop or Citrix migration programmes
- Consultancy or enterprise transformation background
- Experience working within merger, acquisition, or separation programmes
- Broad architecture exposure across multiple vendors and technologies
Contract Details
- Initial 3-month contract with strong extension potential
